Meet Greg Frisinger: Information Security Analyst @ Centre

If you could have dinner with anyone alive or dead, who would you choose and why?

Having dinner with Vince Lombardi would be a great experience. I'm a lifelong Packer fan and this man made the team into a powerhouse in football for many years and won the 1st super bowl. 

 I was born in Wisconsin so I've always loved the Packers.  I have been to a single game with my folks about 20 years ago and saw Brett Favre play.  It was a spur of the moment thing.  We drove out there to see the stadium and my mom was like, well lets go to the game.  My dad and I laughed, then this sales person at the gift shop was like, I know where to get tickets.  The next day we were at the game.

How would you describe your role’s impact on Centre customers?

In SecOps, our goal is to provide clients with the strongest security value possible. By leveraging industry-leading tools, we deliver the protection businesses need to stay resilient and operational in the face of relentless cyber threats.

If you could only play one game for the rest of your life, which one and why?

Softball. I love playing just about every position on the field. From being a pitcher to running around in the outfield. Then getting that base hit to win the game (no home runs here). Where I live now I'm on a softball league.  I play twice a week and practice on Sundays.  We are just a bunch of over 55 guys trying to keep from getting fat, or to be nice just being active.  Most of just want to have fun, don't need to be to serious when 1/2 the guys can't run that well.  Still the 12 year old comes out every now and then causing folks start to dive and get dirty.

Do you have a hidden talent? Tell us more!

I love taking pictures and over the years have gotten some great shots. Back in the film days where you have 24 shots in a roll, you have to be patient for that nice shot, that was fun and challenging.

I used to have a OK 35mm camera I got in the Navy.  Took many pictures from around the world with that camera.  One of my favorites is when I was driving from California to Washington DC, changing duty stations.  I drove through Yellow Stone, I know out of the way, but it was fun.  I was in a little car and I heard this loud thunder so pulled over.  Next thing this large moose went past me into the creek and started eating.  That was one of my favorite pictures.  So I love to take pictures of the outdoors.
